Requirements

Registered Practical Nurse registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (required).
Ability to travel for training/work to other clinics in the GTA region.
Excellent communication skills in English.

Experience in the field of ophthalmology and/or optometry.

Responsibilities

Works closely with the ophthalmologist, anticipating their actions while following protocols.
Reassures patients before and after their procedure, ensuring they feel at ease by showing empathy.
Coordinates each intervention as part of a team.
Becomes a specialist of the tools and technologies used during intraocular procedures.
Works on your feet in the operating room.
Works with precision and accuracy, paying close attention to details.
