About The Position

Focusing on person-centred care, we provide the support people need and want, at home and in the community, so they can live healthier, happier lives surrounded by loved ones. This role involves delivering holistic, person-centred care to children, youth, adults, seniors, and supporting their families. Nurses have the opportunity to work in clients' homes, clinics, virtually, and engage in community outreach. Visiting nurses provide client care in the client’s own home, including physical assessments, symptom control support, palliative care, rehabilitation therapy, wound care, education, and counselling to individuals and families.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of practice
- Must enjoy driving, have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required; a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may also be necessary
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
