About The Position

Carecor Health Services is seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to support specialty medical clinics in long-term care homes across Sault Ste. Marie. This role focuses on assisting with the administration of spasticity medications and providing high-quality clinical and administrative support to physicians, LTC staff, and residents. We are hiring a part-time Registered Practical Nurse to provide clinic coordination, hands-on clinical assistance, and medical education during specialty spasticity management clinics held within long-term care homes. The ideal candidate brings experience in long-term care and feels confident working both independently and collaboratively. Successful candidates will be seeing clients in the Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area.

Requirements

Current registration as an RPN (or RN) in Sault Ste. Marie
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
A caring, compassionate, patient-first approach
Ability to travel daily by car, with occasional overnight travel (car allowance provided)
Comfort speaking to small groups

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care is preferred

Responsibilities

Support physicians during specialty medical clinics in LTC homes
Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and spasticity medication preparation
Set up and clean up equipment and resident rooms before and after procedures
Maintain and track medical supplies and clinic materials
Communicate with LTC staff, physicians, and pharmacy partners to coordinate clinic logistics
Provide education and support to residents, families, and LTC staff
Complete required documentation and follow infection prevention and control procedures
