About The Position

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, as a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will deliver safe, effective, patient-centered, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care to patients according to scope of practice and in accordance with Bruyère Health policies, procedures, and standards, and the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. You will communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with patients and their loved ones, colleagues, and other health discipline members. For informational purposes only, please note that the position is currently aligned with complex care - 4 North, subject to change.

Requirements

Successful completion of RPN medication administration course or equivalent
Valid certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate

Nice To Haves

Experience in wound care or respiratory care
Membership in Registered Practical Nurses' Association of Ontario (RPNAO)
Fluent in French and English

Superior communication, organizational, interpersonal skills
Leadership, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
Able to work within an interdisciplinary team
Able to work under pressure and to adapt to change
Intermediate computer skills
