About The Position

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, as a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will deliver safe, effective, patient-centered, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care to patients according to the scope of practice and in accordance with Bruyère Health policies, procedures, and standards, and the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. You will communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with patients and their loved ones, colleagues, and other health discipline members. Requirements

Successful completion of RPN medication administration course or equivalent
Valid certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate
Successful completion of the mandatory ventilator training, provided by the hospital (on the unit), within the established timeline
Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement).

Nice To Haves

Experience in respiratory care
Membership in Registered Practical Nurses' Association of Ontario (RPNAO)
