About The Position

MedBridge Healthcare is expanding its New York sleep team and is seeking experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGTs) to join their team in Brentwood, NY. This role offers a pathway for Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) looking to obtain their Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) certification. The position involves conducting overnight sleep studies, collecting clinical data, preparing and calibrating equipment, fitting and troubleshooting PAP masks, and analyzing sleep-related events while adhering to safety, compliance, and documentation protocols.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
• NY PSG license and/or CRT/RT license required (no gaps in employment as a RPSGT > 2 months)
• RPSGT credential preferred (NY PSG or RT license required without RPSGT)
• BCLS/CPR certification
• Required vaccinations and immunizations
• Strong technical and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight sleep studies and collect clinical data
• Prepare equipment, apply sensors/electrodes, and ensure equipment calibration
• Fit and troubleshoot PAP masks
• Score and analyze respiratory, cardiac, and sleep-related events
• Follow all required safety, compliance, and documentation protocols
