About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in his/her professional responsibilities in providing pharmacy services and works under the direction of a licensed pharmacist. The role participates in the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and return of patient-specific medications, including intravenous admixtures. Responsibilities also include supplying and maintaining automated technology equipment, packaging unit-of-use dosages, maintaining and transporting pharmaceuticals, and performing tasks associated with regulatory compliance. The technician will document activities as indicated and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
• Registered Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy Technician Trainee in Pennsylvania
