About The Position

This role involves assisting a licensed pharmacist in providing pharmacy services. The Pharmacy Technician will participate in the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and return of patient-specific medications, including intravenous admixtures. Responsibilities also include supplying and maintaining automated technology equipment, packaging unit-of-use dosages, maintaining and transporting pharmaceuticals, performing tasks related to regulatory compliance, and documenting activities. The position is available for both Full-Time Evening Shift (2PM-10:30PM) and Full-Time Day Shift (6AM-2:30PM), with every other weekend and every other holiday required for both shifts.

Requirements

High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
Registered Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy Technician Trainee in Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

Works under the direction of a licensed pharmacist
Participates in the preparation, dispensing, distribution and return of patient specific medications including intravenous admixtures
Supplies and maintains automated technology equipment
Packages unit of use dosages
Maintains and transports pharmaceuticals
Performs tasks associated with regulatory compliance
Documents activities as indicated and performs other duties as required
