About The Position
Wee Care Liberty POST is seeking Registered Occupational Therapists (OTR) in Dyer, Indiana, and surrounding areas. The role provides early intervention occupational therapy services for children from birth through age 18, either in clients’ homes or through outpatient services in the clinic. The position is available full-time or part-time. Energetic applicants who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply. Wee Care has provided pediatric intervention services in northwest Indiana and the southern Chicago suburbs since 1994. In Fall 2024, Wee Care joined Liberty POST, an early intervention agency that provides individualized services across multiple states, including Indiana. The organization uses a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play, with a focus on children’s natural learning environments, families’ strengths and needs, and the diverse population served.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, monitor, and track children’s progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Test and evaluate children’s abilities to determine realistic goals.
