About The Position
Maysville Community & Technical College is seeking a full-time, 10-month, term contract Registered Nursing Instructor for the Maysville Campus. This position requires in-person presence and is not remote. The instructor will be responsible for planning and executing instruction, preparing learning materials, and providing theoretical and practical nursing education. Key duties include preparing lesson plans, maintaining student records, managing classroom discipline, staying updated on technical changes in the field, and participating in professional development to enhance teaching and technical skills. The role also involves providing follow-up services for student placement, improving courses, and promoting public relations.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Current active, unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Kentucky.
- Two years full time or equivalent experience as a registered nurse in the hospital setting within the immediate past five years.

Responsibilities
- Classroom lecture and supervision of students in the college laboratory and clinical areas associated with the Maysville Campus RN Program.
- Assisting in planning, implementing, evaluating, and updating the nursing program.
- Providing and participating in National Accreditation duties as assigned for the RN program.
- Academic advising.
