About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide inpatient dialysis care in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. This fast-paced, collaborative position involves working directly with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units, coordinating with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff, and adapting to changing patient needs. No dialysis experience is required; paid training is provided. The schedule includes regular and on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays, and may involve rotating between facilities. Daily schedules may change based on patient needs. The role requires a current RN license in the state of practice and an ADN; a BSN is preferred. ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required. CNN/CDN certification is preferred, and candidates must pass a color vision test, with accommodations available. Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required by participating hospitals, potentially including a booster when eligible. The position is open for a minimum of three days. The wage range is $42.00–$58.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes.
Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
Adapt quickly to a dynamic hospital environment.
