Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Pedi Med/Surg - 36 hours/week, rotating shifts
About The Position
J5 is an adult and geriatric medical/surgical unit and a thirteen bed pediatric unit. The pediatric area specializes in the delivery of comprehensive medical and surgical care of the pediatric patient from neonate to twenty years of age. The most frequent medical diagnoses for adult and geriatric medical patients are Asthma Pneumonia Gastrointestinal bleeding Bronchitis Hypovolemic Cellulitis Diverticulitis Abdominal pain. As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you will be responsible for the following: Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness. Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient. Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
- BCLS required
