About The Position
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care to a diverse patient population including medical/surgical, orthopedic, pediatric, bariatric, urology, and neurosurgical patients. Key responsibilities involve utilizing the nursing process in care provision, effective communication with the healthcare team to ensure patient goals are met and coordinated, and delivering excellent customer service while supporting patients' and families' physical and emotional health.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program
- Current PA RN license
- Healthcare Provider CPR
- Act 33/73 Clearances (required within one year of hire/transfer)
- PEARS (required within one year of hire/transfer)
- Clinical rotation through educational program
- Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- Clinical experience evident within the past 3 years or completion of refresher course within the last year
