About The Position

CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support occupational health and injury case management. The nurse provides care, oversight, and coordination for occupational health services; conducts health assessments and surveillance; manages work-related injuries and illnesses; and performs clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and immunizations. The role works under established protocols and collaborates with a supervising occupational physician on health promotion programs and occupational health procedures.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., as needed. The pay range is $38–$42.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• At least two years of experience in general medicine, occupational health, or emergency room nursing.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/AED) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and immunizations.
• Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic medical data management.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to five hours per shift and infrequently lift up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, oversight, and coordination for occupational health services and programs.
• Develop health promotion programs in collaboration with the supervising occupational physician.
• Provide accurate, well-documented medical reports and formulate occupational health procedures as needed.
• Conduct job-specific health assessments, pre-employment exams, and ongoing health surveillance.
• Provide first aid, manage work-related injuries and illnesses, and coordinate follow-up care according to protocol.
• Perform phlebotomy and IV blood draws, and administer immunizations as required.
• Evaluate, monitor, and report potential occupational illnesses and injuries under established protocols.
