About The Position

The Registered Nurse, Contingent, in the ICU at Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital coordinates and delivers quality, compassionate patient care. The RN uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, supporting patients and their families and contributing to patient outcomes. The role includes delegating, supervising, and documenting care and patient/family teaching; communicating pertinent information to the healthcare team; and participating in solutions when patient goals are not met.

The position is contingent and works midnights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. The department serves Oakland County communities as part of Henry Ford Health and emphasizes collaborative, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).
• One year of critical care/ICU nursing experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
