About The Position

The Seasonal Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides age- and developmentally appropriate care in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging nursing environment. The nurse collaborates with multidisciplinary team members from various hospital specialties to deliver care in accordance with unit standards. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts, 19:00–07:00.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 2 years of RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
