About The Position

Performs primary nursing functions of assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Inpatient Unit for patients of all ages with various illnesses or trauma. The Registered Nurse serves as a professional role model and collaborates with clinical and front office staff, administration, and other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care and optimal patient outcomes. Other duties as assigned. The schedule is 1915–0715, with every-third-weekend and holiday rotations. The position is 0.6 FTE, and a bonus of up to $7,500 is offered. The posting notes that there is no force mandating.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a hospital inpatient/telemetry unit or equivalent experience.
Completion of at least two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing, sufficient to be eligible for Registered Nurse licensure.
Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or a multistate nursing license from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS), or an AHA-approved equivalent, required within 30 days of hire.
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within one year of hire.

Nice To Haves

2 years of experience in a hospital inpatient/telemetry unit or equivalent experience is preferred.
