About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at a large facility in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate has experience in a large facility; experience at a Level 1 trauma center is preferred. The role provides nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department. The preferred start date is May 4, with May 18 as the latest acceptable start date. Conditional compliance for credentialing may be considered if documentation is in process. Requirements

• At least 4 years of well-rounded emergency nursing experience, including adult and pediatric care.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center.
• TNCC certification.
• ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and closely monitor patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
