About The Position
Vibra Permanent Staffing is seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses for a direct-hire, full-time night-shift opportunity at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. The role is in a specialized Long-Term Acute Care setting serving high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions. Charge Nurse capabilities are required. Requirements
- Current, valid, active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment; an active Louisiana or compact-state RN license is specified.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification required; the posting also states ACLS is required within 90 days of hire.
- Charge Nurse capabilities are required.
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Compassionate, team-oriented mindset.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings.
- Educate patients and families, and advocate for long-term health and recovery.
- Maintain compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
