About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed, patient-centered nursing care. The Registered Nurse assesses patients upon admission; plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; administers medications; and evaluates and documents patients status and progress. The Registered Nurse also supervises LPNs, Patient Techs, and other team members as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• ACLS and/or PALS certification from the American Heart Association may be required depending on the nursing unit
