About The Position
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse (Nurse A) for a full-time temporary position at St Joseph's Hospital in Estevan, within the Home Nursing department. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, actively participating in quality improvement initiatives, and promoting the organization's mission, vision, and values by providing safe, quality nursing care. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with knowledge of ethnic and cultural diversity. The SHA is committed to providing coordinated, seamless, safe, and patient-centered quality services and is focused on building a representative, diverse, inclusive, and culturally responsive workforce, working in the spirit of truth and reconciliation.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Basic - Computer skills
- Basic - Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
- Basic - Interpersonal skills
- Basic - Decision making skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge in ethnic and cultural diversity
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
