About The Position
Deaconess Illinois Medical Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) for their Medical/Surgical team. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Red Cross BLS certification upon hire

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
- Coordinate and direct nursing care based on established clinical practices and standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Advocate for patients while promoting safety, quality, and compassionate care.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Coordinate care, communicate results, and support patients and families throughout their healthcare journey.
