About The Position
Vibra Permanent Staffing is recruiting Registered Nurses for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital - Lafayette, a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Lafayette, Louisiana. Nurses provide care to high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions in a specialized acute-care setting. Day and night shifts are available. The position offers a competitive salary with shift differentials, benefits, and paid time off.
Requirements
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification, or obtain ACLS within 90 days of hire.
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Compassionate, team-oriented mindset.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience is strongly preferred.
- An active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings.
- Educate patients and families and advocate for long-term health and recovery.
- Comply with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
