Registered Nurse- On-Call
About The Position
The Registered Nurse delivers aesthetic treatments and personalized client care at Sev Skin. The role includes consulting with clients, performing laser hair removal and other assigned treatments, educating clients about treatment plans and care, and documenting consultations and treatments accurately. The nurse follows clinical, safety, infection-control, and regulatory requirements. The position also focuses on creating a welcoming client experience, building trust through education and communication, recommending services and memberships, and supporting rebooking, treatment-plan completion, conversion, and retention goals. The nurse partners with reception and studio and clinical leadership, maintains clean and treatment-ready rooms, participates in training and studio initiatives, and promptly communicates concerns. This is an on-call role. Shifts may be up to 10 hours, and providers may work up to 29 hours per week. Weekend availability is required, including at least two Saturdays per month; Sunday, evening, and holiday availability may also be required based on studio hours and business needs. Compensation includes a competitive base hourly rate, client tips, and commission opportunities; tips and commissions are not guaranteed and may vary. Eligible part-time employees may receive the listed benefits.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California that meets applicable state requirements.
- Knowledge of laser treatments, skin types, hair-growth cycles, and safety protocols.
- Strong communication and client-service skills.
- Confidence educating clients and recommending personalized treatment plans.
- Positive attitude and openness to coaching and continued learning.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Availability for shifts up to 10 hours and up to 29 hours per week.

Nice To Haves
- Prior aesthetics, laser, skincare, or consultative sales experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities

- Address client questions and concerns professionally and with care.
- Partner with reception, studio leadership, and clinical leadership to keep each day running smoothly.
- Maintain clean, organized, and treatment-ready rooms.
- Participate in training, coaching, promotions, and studio initiatives.
- Communicate client, equipment, treatment, or safety concerns promptly.
