About The Position

Premier Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for residents in New Harmony, Indiana. The role is a full-time night-shift position, scheduled from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The successful candidate will bring empathy, patience, integrity, competence, and a strong work ethic to resident care and teamwork.

Requirements

Current, unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong critical-thinking, clinical-judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assess residents’ health conditions and develop individualized care plans for their medical and personal needs.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments and maintain accurate documentation.
Monitor vital signs and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to appropriate staff or physicians.
Communicate with residents and families, providing education, support, and reassurance.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
Document patient progress, care interventions, and outcomes using electronic medical records.
Stay current with nursing best practices, clinical research, and compliance requirements.
Participate in professional development and training to enhance clinical skills.
Promote a positive, family-like atmosphere through teamwork, compassion, and open communication.
Perform other assigned duties to support resident care and facility operations.
