About The Position

At Holy Cross Hospital – Davis, the Surgery Department has 12 ORs (8 Main, 4 DSC) and 4 GI suites that perform around 15,000 procedures a year for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Specialties include robotics (general, urology, gynecology), general, ortho, trauma, neuro, ENT, urology, gyn, podiatry and more. Our staff cross-train to all specialties expanding their skill set and accomplishments. The culture encompasses teamwork and support in professional and personal growth. Requirements

Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
One year experience preferred
Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact

Nice To Haves

Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
