About The Position

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 3-North Medical Telemetry Unit. This unit has 24 beds and most often treats patients in need of medical telemetry, observation, cardiac monitoring and treatment for low-risk chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, and congestive heart failure. Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
  • Registered nursing License (Required)
  • Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License.
  • BLS required within 90 days of hire
  • None required (experience)

  • Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN
  • Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.
  • 1 year of acute care (preferred)
  • Previous healthcare experience (preferred)
