About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required, and paid training is provided. The role involves a fast-paced, hands-on environment, long-term patient relationships, and applying a broad range of nursing skills to medically complex patients. This is a full-time opportunity in Saint Louis, Missouri. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts and two Saturdays per month, with start times as early as 4:00 AM and end times as late as 7:00 PM. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The nurse may float to nearby clinics, and training may take place at a clinic other than the home location. A flexible schedule and reliable transportation are required.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
- Flexible schedule required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN/CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with the clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
