About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. This position requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work in a fast-paced, large, teaching facility. Prior travel experience is essential, and proficiency with EPIC within the last two years is a non-negotiable requirement. Please note that public transportation is not accessible in this area, so reliable personal or rental transportation is strongly recommended.

Requirements

• Vermont or compact RN License
• AHA BLS required
• AHA ACLS required
• AHA PALS required
• NIHSS required
• TNCC required
• A minimum of 2 years of experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Large, teaching facility experience required
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable

Nice To Haves

• CEN preferred
• ENPC preferred
• MOAB preferred
• Pro Act or other de-escalation training such as CPS preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
