About The Position

This Registered Nurse (RN) position supports Employee Occupational Health Services (EOHS) and is an onsite role located at the IU Health Ft Wayne Hospital. The primary responsibilities include onboarding and health clearance for new hires, completing transfer assessments, coordinating and managing return-to-work processes for team members on leave, administering and managing the annual flu program, and collaborating closely with leaders and partnered departments. The role also involves managing communicable disease exposures and blood and body fluid exposure incidents. This RN will work independently, with support available from IUH Ball Hospital Employee Health as needed. Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
