About The Position

North Alabama Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in its Operating Room. The role uses specialized plan-of-care interventions and nursing judgment to support patient well-being and deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Requirements

• Current state Registered Nurse license.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care certifications.
• Prior experience; new graduates are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age.
• Complete timely and appropriate medical-record documentation related to medical necessity.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial or spiritual support needs.
