About The Position
Hope Network is hiring a Registered Nurse for its neuro rehabilitation services in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The nurse assesses residents’ healthcare needs and oversees their daily care, including medication administration and accurate medical recordkeeping. The role works with residents, families, the healthcare team, and other stakeholders to address concerns and coordinate care. It also supports infection control, safety, audits, and quality improvement initiatives. The position is on site for 32 or more hours per week. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The minimum pay rate is $30 per hour, with potential for a higher rate based on years of relevant experience.
Requirements
- A Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of Michigan.
Nice To Haves
- One year of previous experience in a residential setting.
- Experience providing medical services in a rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ healthcare needs and oversee daily care.
- Ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date medical records for residents.
- Complete documentation in a timely and compliant manner.
- Foster communication among the healthcare team, residents, families, and other stakeholders.
- Address concerns from residents or families and work toward effective solutions.
- Enforce infection control protocols and ensure safety measures are met.
- Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives to meet or exceed healthcare standards.
