About The Position

Carecor is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join their exceptional team supporting Transitional Care Unit (TCU) facilities. As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards, Carecor’s policies and procedures, and the guidelines of the healthcare facility where you are assigned. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and reporting to the Supervisor, you will play a key role in promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of patients. Each assignment consists of an 8-12 hour shift within a single facility, allowing you to provide consistent, patient-centered care in a supportive environment. This is a casual position, offering flexibility to align with your availability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent Registered Nurse education
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Minimum of 300 hours of experience in a Medical-Surgical, Long-Term Care, or Transitional Care setting within the past two years
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
  • Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B
  • Proof of negative TB skin tests within the past one year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years
  • Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
  • Provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination prior to their start date.
