About The Position

Join Baylor Scott & White - Lake Pointe Forney as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! This position is for PRN Nights with a patient population including CP/STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis. The patient ratios are 1:3-4, and the unit has 6 beds. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Lake Pointe in Wylie, TX, is a community-based hospital offering specialized services uncommon for its size, including extensive outpatient services and two free-standing Emergency Departments. The hospital is licensed for 176 beds and holds multiple accreditations, including Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, and Maternal and Level III NICU. Nursing is on a journey towards Pathways to Excellence and will seek Magnet designation.

Requirements

• Graduated from an Accredited Program.
• Possess an RN License.
• Minimum of 2 years of true, recent Emergency Department RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with CP/STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3-4.
• Work PRN Nights in the Emergency Department.
