About The Position
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. In this role, you will provide one-on-one daytime home visits, delivering high-quality care to consumers in a home setting. Services for Independent Living (SIL) is a non-profit Center for Independent Living dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities, seniors, and veterans to achieve greater independence and quality of life. Requirements
- A valid Missouri RN license is required.
- Must carry liability insurance with minimum coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in nursing is preferred.
- Prior nursing experience in various medical settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diabetic nail care, skin condition monitoring, oral medication setup, insulin syringe filling, and general health evaluations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and chart all visits.
- Monitor and document vital signs and overall health conditions.
- Provide on the job training to advanced personal care attendants.
- Review on-site visit reports and training conducted by administrative supervisor.
