About The Position
T he River Hospital Inpatient Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team. Our Inpatient Unit Nurses work three 12-hour shifts weekly Job purpose A clinically competent registered, licensed nurse who provides immediate, specialized emergency care with a multidisciplinary emergency medical service provider team. Must possess the basic and advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Requirements
- Valid and current registration, New York State RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification within the first 60 days of hire
- Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the life span and the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care.
- It is the employee’s responsibility to know the requirements for certification, limited permit and licensure for their individual profession.
- It is also the responsibility of the employee to notify the employer of the status of any certification or licensure issue or potential issue.
- The employee will comply with all of the requirements outlined by the New York State Office of professions for the particular profession.
- Bending, lifting, standing, walking, must possess the physical ability to perform CPR.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred minimum of two years of inpatient experience but new graduates are welcome to apply
