About The Position

Vibra Permanent Staffing is seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses for a direct-hire, full-time opportunity at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital - Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana. The role provides nursing care in a specialized Long-Term Acute Care setting for high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions. Full-time night shifts are available, and Charge Nurse capabilities are required. Requirements

Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification; ACLS is required within 90 days of hire.
Active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state.
Charge Nurse capabilities.
Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellence in patient care.
Compassionate, team-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.
Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings.
Educate patients and families, and advocate for long-term health and recovery.
Maintain compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
