The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all RNs, LVNs, and CMAs are clinically competent and understand their roles and responsibilities within a patient-centered, team-based environment. The care team will deliver care in the most efficient, standardized, and evidence-based process. The RN seeks collaboration and consultation with other health professionals. They will assist in the ongoing assessment of clinical education and team approaches to patient care. The RN will be a content expert in standardized workflows. They will be responsible for gathering and evaluating data to improve practice support, quality care, and clinical staff competency in collaboration with the Clinic Director, Director of Nursing, and Medical Director. The RN will also perform nursing services to patients in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, telephone triage, performing patient education, care coordination, assessing patients’ physical and psychological needs, administering medications, assisting providers with procedures, and responding to medical emergencies.
