About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in a school clinic setting at Washington Township Schools Eastwood Middle School, within the Wellness Preventative Care department. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm. The nurse will implement and adapt personalized care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care teams, execute physician and nursing orders, and manage transition and discharge planning to ensure student health and academic success.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement and adapt personalized care plans by tracking, recording, and communicating vital health changes to guarantee seamless, high-quality patient outcomes.
• Coordinate the multidisciplinary care team to align physicians, specialists, and school staff, ensuring the student receives fully integrated and well-supported care.
• Execute physician and nursing orders with precision and empathy, maintaining strict adherence to clinical safety protocols.
• Manage proactive transition and discharge planning alongside the healthcare team to set the student up for long-term health and academic success.
