The Hospital of Central Connecticut is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for its Med Surg units across multiple hours and shifts. The organization emphasizes taking great care of its Registered Nurses, offering support and opportunities to practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. Registered Nurses have the opportunity for clinical instruction and additional learning as they complete their Nurse Residency.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery.
- Care for patients from birth through the end of life.
- Practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices.
- Participate in clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as part of the Nurse Residency program.
