We offer a comprehensive RN Residency Program designed to support new graduates in advancing their nursing education and career. Our program aligns with QSEN competencies and ANCC Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) requirements, with rolling enrollment allowing nurses to start within 30-45 days of hire. The program features specialty clinical practice tracks for hands-on skills development and is condensed to be completed in 6-8 months. Requirements
- Recent graduate from an accredited nursing program who has successfully completed all requirements to obtain a nursing license.
- RN student enrolled in the final semester of an accredited nursing program with a set graduation date.
- Must be interested in roles at Mercy Health - St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Participate in an accredited RN Residency Program and Specialty Fellowships.
- Engage in hands-on skills practice within Specialty Clinical Practice Tracks.
- Complete the RN New Grad Residency Program within 6-8 months.
- Adhere to department policies regarding weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations.
- Abide by all Federal and State laws, as well as, the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
