About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a Medical/Surgical unit. The role involves caring for a diverse group of Med/Surg patients in a 30-bed unit, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5–6:1. The unit is a dedicated education unit; travel nurses in this position focus solely on patient care and do not educate staff.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of nursing experience in a Level 1 trauma center or mid-to-large hospital.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Med/Surg nursing practices.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and deliver timely patient care.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to a mixed population of Med/Surg patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
