Registered Nurse Per Diem, Emergency Department
About The Position
Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, is looking for a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team in Palmer, MA. The new Emergency Department features 20 beds, including two critical care bays, and the majority of beds are private rooms. It is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including an in-department CT scanner and radiology unit. The department is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, designated as a Primary Stroke Service hospital, and recognized by CMS for health promotion and quality of life improvement. It is supported by the Trauma 1 Center at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, with easy access through critical care transports, medical helicopters, and ambulances.
Requirements
- Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination.
- Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
- Diploma in Nursing (Required)
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts
