Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Care Center (Part Time)
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Care Center, located within the Women’s & Children’s building on our Newark Campus. Our Pediatric Care Center features 14 beds and provides a unique blend of emergency and general pediatric acute care. As a Pediatric Care Center RN, you will care for patients from birth through age 17 with a wide range of conditions, including RSV, sepsis, asthma, fractures, gastrointestinal illnesses, head and body injuries, high fevers, infections, abdominal pain, and more. This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your pediatric nursing skills while working in a collaborative, team‑focused environment dedicated to delivering high-quality, family-centered care.
Requirements
- BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
- Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
- BLS Certification required
Nice To Haves
- Two years of Acute Care RN experience strongly preferred
- Pediatric, pediatric emergency, emergency department or critical care experience strongly preferred
- ACLS & PALS certifications preferred
