About The Position

Asbury Solomons is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN, Night Shift positions. This role provides individualized care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents. The RN will obtain and transcribe orders, notify physicians and responsible parties of resident status changes, and provide leadership to CNAs and LPNs, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations. Responsibilities include completing new admission paperwork, conducting nursing assessments, and administering medications and treatments. Requirements

• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
• Current CPR Certification

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one year experience in medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatrics nursing, or significant medical/surgical clinical experience during schooling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
• Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.
• Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.
• Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.
