About The Position

The Telemetry registered nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in Telemetry units in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. The nurse is expected to be supportive, compassionate, efficient, detail-oriented, and collaborative, maintaining plans of care for vulnerable patients while working effectively as part of a team.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing for all external candidates.
• Current California RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Complete Initial Dysrhythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire.
• Recent acute care experience.
• Possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
• Demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
• Provide proof of work authorization.
