About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for Same Day Surgery, PRN Days, in Clarksville. This role involves applying the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and continuum of care planning. The nurse will communicate effectively with the healthcare team, collaborate on patient goals, and evaluate progress. Professional growth is encouraged through continuous learning. The position is within the VCH Same Day Surgery department. The Registered Nurse will collaborate in establishing the plan of care, coordinate and implement care delivery, and anticipate patient needs across the continuum. They will analyze patient information to determine nursing diagnoses, continually evaluate patient progress towards goals using the nursing process, and apply appropriate interventions for effective outcomes. Additionally, the nurse will employ strategies to promote health and maintain a safe environment. The responsibilities listed are a general overview, and additional duties may be assigned.

Relevant Work Experience
Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
Less than 1 year of experience

Responsibilities
