About The Position
Rocky Mountain Care - Willow Springs in Tooele, Utah, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver care to a group of residents in a nursing unit. The position involves assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other personnel involved in providing care. Requirements
- Current, unencumbered, active Utah Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Clinical assessment skills sufficient to meet the job requirements.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
- Basic computer skills, including email use.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Decision-making and analytical skills.
- Ability to relate positively and cooperatively with employees, residents, family members, and personnel from outside agencies and organizations.
- Positive attitude and desire to work with the aging population.
Responsibilities
