About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Women's & Children's Building on its Newark Campus in Newark, Delaware. The unit has 84 NICU beds and 6 postpartum beds and cares for infants from 22 weeks gestation and up. Nurses gain experience with a range of diagnoses, and the unit has an in-house NICU transport team. As a Level III NICU, the unit provides care for patients except for surgery and ECMO.

This is a full-time position working 72 hours per pay period on the night shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend and holiday commitments. The hourly pay range is $42.11–$67.37. The actual offer depends on individual factors such as skills, relevant experience, and qualifications.

Requirements

• BSN required, or commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of the hire date.
• Previous Women's & Children's RN experience required.
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.
• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of NICU RN experience strongly preferred.
