About The Position

This is a professional role practicing in a multi-faceted domain of specialty nursing, focusing on the healthcare of individuals, families, groups, communities, and entire populations. Care is provided in primary and specialty care outpatient facilities, non-acute community outpatient settings, and during telehealth nursing encounters that occur in medical offices or by individual nurses in the home or business. The nurse has authority, accountability, and responsibility for nursing practice, making decisions and taking action consistent with the obligation to promote health and provide optimal care, recognizing that health is a universal right. The nurse interacts with patients in concert with other health professionals, skillfully using the nursing process to assess primary concerns, identify problems, analyze and integrate subjective and objective data, decide on a plan of action, apply the appropriate intervention, and evaluate the outcome.

Requirements

Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire.
